no matter what the genre, you always have a gigantic pile of generic, boring crap and the few occasional nuggets that are quite cool. sometimes you just have to delve deeper. I'm learning black metal in reverse, starting from obscure acts like axis of perdition and going backwards... so, a lot of underground death metal bands are not worth it, but a bunch are promising newcomers or years and years of undiscovered quality.

defeated sanity is fucking awesome! one of my favorite bands, very extreme and heavily complex at the same time. good luck reviewing it, it will be hard to do justice to the insane music within...
