I agree with what you say, it isn't easy to get good music five cd's later, and IMO, rap sucks, it takes no talent whatsoever. but for staind to come out and produce good radio hits 10 years later, is pretty impressive

this album has good moments, but a lot of the sonsg are bland. I just dislike how they lost a lot of their emotion for preachy lyrics.

rap takes more talent than writing Staind songs.

Much like Metallica, lack of alcohol in Aaron Lewis' system has caused recent song-writing efforts to blow a big one. This Message Edited On 04.27.06

oh, make that 100%. The only staind song i have heard that has any positive thought is probably 'Reply', the last song on the CD. other than that it is just a negative band

It is better than 14 Shades Of Grey. But it is still bland though. I dont think that they deserve a 0/5 (YDload), but i dont think it deserves a 5/5.

Milk Duds.

BTW, how do you give a 0/5??????This Message Edited On 05.06.06

I don't own this album, but I don't think it deserves a 0/5. Not even kevin Federline's up coming album would deserve a 0/5.

For it to deserve a 0/5 it would have to not be music. If its played in time its considered music no matter how bad it is.

Staind has continued to show zero creativity as a band, and seems content to continue putting out album after album of derivative, unchallenging garbage to the masses for easy consumption and unsurprising radio success. I stand by my rating.

You have a right to your opinion, but your opinion's wrong.

(i'm kidding, just wanted to try that line out)

Well, you cant discredit all of Stand as horrible. For the most part, the guitar work is pretty good, some better than previous albums. That has to atleast be higher than a 0/5 though.

he thinks they have no originality. i can give him credit on about 50% of that, but i think the good guitar work saves this from being very boring
