St. Augustine was a great guy and everything and had some great ideas about the Bible and how to interpret it but he wasn't Jesus, no one was except Jesus Himself and that's whose quotes are the most relevant to us as believers or if you're a nonbeliever that's who you want to look to because mere men will always fail but Christ was perfect.
