i don't care what scyther thought about the album as much as i did about the review. it feels like a rough draft that felt aimless and redundant.
he could've gave it a 1 and i still wouldn't care. at least re read the shit you post on sputnikmusic before you post it.

uh he backed up his points. it's not like the review lacked format or contained numerous typos or grammatical mistake. he organized his review well and argued his points well. you can disagree with his points, but he backs up his arguments.

Thanks mitch. You know after a few more reads I think this is a pretty good review, I would have said all the same things if I'd written like I usually do, just more politely. It's a compressed letter to Raekwon, don't take it personally. To clarify, if this was an experiment I've got conclusive results.

yeah it's safe to say i overreacted. it just kills me that you would compare raekwon to a shitty rapper like jim jones. god that guy sucks.

I was comparing him to Jim Jones cuz on that particular song he sounds just like him.

not really...

Listen to "Surgical Gloves" and imagine anybody from Dipset is rapping it.
|
| |
hmmm i'm listening right now, but i can't really picture Cam'ron or Jim Jones rapping on it. Alc's production really doesn't sound like something they'd rap too.

nah dude it definitely sounds like a dipset beat. it's more eloquent than Jones, but i could picture Cam rapping easily.

'This reminds me of Bill O'Reilly talking about Nas but without the classic facial expressions.'
Besides this, all I have to say is I find it scary that you think this is a good review by your standards. I say that because when you are yelling at Raekwon's effort and questioning his 'street cred,' it's not much of a review, but more just a bunch of babble.

Somebody should really explain that O'Reilly thing to me because I watch him more than any other pundit and I'm not seeing it. I have seen him talk about Nas and it looked like any other instance of a Harvard graduate versus middle school dropout with a collection of Maya Angelou books he half-read. Bill is popular because he's a racist prick, but thats not all there is to it. And I question Rae's "street-cred" because he's a fuckin liar in the first place and secondly its the most tired rap subject since the Stop The Violence Movement.

Have you even considered how entertaining he is? What do you watch cable news for the facts or something?
