The sumerians tried that system of government with Hammurabi's Code and it didn't quite work...

The reason everyone is insulting you is because no one can take you seriously.

I have too, and I feel like they've all come on Endgame reviews, haha. LeperCon, you were going off back there and I literally laughed out loud at my desk at work.

@Jesuslaves: I've found that when playing the CD on my car stereo it sounds pretty damn good, and also on my nice stereo at home. It's on computers, iPods and shitty stereos where it doesn't sounds so hot. It's just a little too treble-ey and that really bugged me at first. But hey, with Metallica it's "do whatever you have to do to get the bass out of the mix"

I have my moments. Said moments are usually followed by angry moderators though. I was seriously about to type an entire lullaby before Dave came in and told me off :'(

How the hell do you indent past comments like that? Sick of using quotation marks.

@LeperCon: hey, gotta roll with the punches man. A lullaby would've been pretty damn funny though.

They deleted a ton of my comments. Somehow deth09's comments add more to the thread than mine did.

I'm sorry; I simply cannot agree with this review. The arguments for Death Magnetic being better than Endgame just don't hold weight. I can definately see myself listening to Dialectic Chaos and 44 Minutes in ten years, which I can't see happening with, frankly, dire offerings such as "Unforgiven III", proving to me that Megadeth's songwriting on this album is far superior.

I just can't take the reviewer seriously when he states why everything is bad with DM, and THEN has the cheek to go on and say why it's so much better than EG... especially after singing the latter album's praises for the rest of the review up to that point.

I also find it hard to believe that the lyrics on DM are any better than those found on Endgame ( Stinkers such as "That that don't kill me only makes me more strong" come immediately to mind ), proving that this is an unfair and unbalanced review, and reeks of favouritism and a lack of an objective and impartial standpoint, things which any professional, self-respecting reviewer would do well to bear in mind.

I really don't mind people having differing opinions on stuff like this, especially on an issue as divisive as the Megadeth/Metallica fued, but I just object to the brashness of it all. Maybe next time the metallica bashers will be a little more thorough in trying to cover their narrow-mindedness.
