baha, when i first saw them at the start where it does the quick flicker. i did a double take and was i like 'Was her really just using sausages as drum sticks?'
Oh and heres where the idea originated:
In just 4 weeks DLC (that's us) enters the studio to finish tracking their (our) debut album. We have 3 (three) tracks recorded so we still have the bulk of the recording to do (a shitload). 5 weeks of recording and we are all done.. cut to scene of us sipping cocktails on the beach as pantsless mexican midgets serve us slices of microwaved pizza. (Sorry, our management is tight... even fantasies have taken severe budget cuts)
We can't wait to get this album out to you. Some of these songs have been in the works for years... a long time for some doo-doo's and woah-oh's... !
One of the songs has been such a long piece of work that the first line is about dial-up internet being cutting edge technology but the outro is all talking about ADSL and cable shit... I know... EPIC.
The album is coming along fannnntastically... we feel extremely positive that we are going to make you guys proud with this one. We are really taking the time to make everything the best it can be. Just yesterday we realised the "vibe" of a song was calling for the snare drum to be hit with a large pork sausage instead of the more "traditional" drum "stick". It sounded great and Luke's snare now smells great. We have been having little victories like this all over the studio.
