I would say this is a guilty pleasure but that's not exactly accurate since I tell everyone I know about this. See the thing that bugs me about most overtly happy pop music is that it doesn't cheer you up when you're down because the sheer bubbly exuberance of it feels like it's mocking you.

This has just the right mix of innocent happiness and wistfulness to make it pretty much the perfect album for when you're a little sad or when you're happy.

Love it.

Listen to hello seattle and fireflies and if you aren't hooked, then you aren't human, and have clearly developed some immunity to beautifully crafted pop songs.
