I love that album! I remember buying Pearl Jam's Ten and NIN's Downward Spiral solely based on reputation. (My 3rd and 4th albums ever bought, hotness).

Willie, I actually like The Downward Spiral best, although I haven't heard all of this yet. This is like the one NIN album I have yet to listen to (except Head like a Hole, but I have seen that live)
Worth hearing. Probably their fourth best, tied with With Teeth

I brought Downward Spiral purely because I already had Year Zero and With Teeth and liked both. All it took was a single listen from start to end for it to elevate from "Meh, 's pretty good" to "Holy shit, best album ever"
