Just feels...idk. I'm probably comparing it too much to JoFo by accident, but WUTIWL just feels like it swings with slightly more... calculated intent. Yeah, that's the way to put it.

Well, it wouldn't be by accident Adam, as I'm the one who made the initial comparison. And hey, you might be 100% correct for all I know. Of course, there are many around these parts who believe that "calculated intent" is a bad thing in music.
DavID, there is a new Robbie Williams album coming out in a couple of months time. I am going to store up all the hate I have & unleash it then! :-)

Things couldn't get any worse for Robbie Williams after Rudebox.

not in terms of track listing, it's not. i don't like my music with a sense of 'calculated intent', but when you're putting together something as synthetic and deliberate as an LP you should have some idea about how it's going to come across imo. i think track listing and swing/flow turns me onto an album more than any other thing. if i can see the band intentionally developed/changed mood in a clever fashion, i'm almost always impressed by it.

It can get worse for Robbie DavID, as he has yet to feel my true wraith.
Understood and agreed with Adam. I'm a big believer that track listing is important. Actually, I did read one review that criticized ths album for having the 3 highlights placed together in the middle of the LP. I agree with the thought pattern, but don't believe it to be true in this case personally. 'Black Wax' doesn't do a great deal for me & 'Some Dresses' is excellent.

Saw it, dude. Will get onto it,
And Black Wax is awesome; you're wrong if you disagree.

Yeah Black Wax rules. Album stand-outs for me are 1993 and Pink Sabbath tho.

You're both "totally bone".
I explained why I am not the hugest fan of 'Black Wax' in the review. Callum's vocals simply aren't good enough to carry it.
'Watch This' is an interesting track. I think it makes for a real good introduction. Dare I say it Adam, but it's well-placed as the first vocal track. But in isolation, it's not up there with the highlights.

Fucking is

It's a great track and yeah it's well placed as the first vocal song. The rest of it just feels like a compilation of songs to me though, until the last track.

"The rest of it just feels like a compilation of songs to me though"
Insert "good" between "of" & "songs" and you're closer to the mark.
Oh oh, DavID is one of those moods. He's obviously listening to 'Rudebox'.

Haha (insert Twilight Zone music here). What's the ATLow album like? Exactly what everyone would expect? I must say I got a chuckle out of their new video which contains sub-titles next to everyone who appears in it. The Blink 182 reference when Mark Hoppus appears was cool.

It's arguably as good as their last one... which I semi-enjoyed. It's probably a 3, I doubt anything more. A bit of branching out, too, musically. Obviously it's nothing groundbreaking but I'm on a third listen which for pop-punk makes it stand out already.
