This album is the reason why I never considered Messiah the best Candlemass vocalist. He is so fucking cheesy and over the top. It's too annoying. At least he sounds less cheesy on Tales Of Creation.

That's because the production and the mixing were made entirely by the band. The producer who had worked with them on the previous albums was absent due to schedule conflicts. He worked with the band again in the next album.

I am surprised Epistle.81 wasn't even mentioned. It's one of the most interesting songs in the album, if only because it breaks out of the formula of the other songs. But also it's an amazing song.
