This is an awesome return to proper form for the band. I had high hopes and I wasn't disappointed.

I'm not easily disappointed by things, but when I first heard this on their MySpace (worst place to listen to anything but cool artists put full albums up before they're out) I was worried they took a step back, not so much disappointed as just worried about them not growing as they seemed to do with all prior releases. This really is awesome though. Is Kris missing? Is it different than Deliver Us/Undoing Ruin? Is there maybe less overall melody? Yes to all - but I honestly feel as though all of those yes' still don't take away from how awesome of a record this is.

Get Deliver Us AND Undoing Ruin - both are great albums man. You can't go wrong with Hidden Hands either but I'd go for the other two first!

More technical and agressive, but doesn't really add anything new to the genre like their first albums.

I have to say that imo "Deliver Us" was a better album

But this is a pretty solid release

Deliver Us is better because it has Tunguska, Doomsayer, and Fire in the Skies. This is damn close though, it just lacks the highlights Deliver Us has.

You have a tendency to overrate every pop song you've ever heard is all.

Lolz. Btw Atavan the new Gossip album rules, I noticed that you have been digging it.
