After the first 7 tracks or so this album really deviates and becomes pretty weak. There's quite a few 'bangers' early on but then it becomes typical Mos Def experimental bullshit that I'm really not into.

Gave it another twirl. When I first heard the album, the first 3 or 4 tracks got me in the mood that this was one of those albums to bump and bob my head to and enjoy. After the 7th track, thing derailed. Listened to it again with different expectations and found the 2nd half an enjoyable deviation.

Life In Marvelous Times is my fav song off this so far, but many good songs as well. might bump it to a 4

really starting to get into this album. a lot of unique beats, like a breath of fresh air.

Quiet Dog Bite Hard is an amazing song off of the album
