It is good, but if you want to hear something like that listen to Ablaze My Sorrow or something and then tell me if TJR is really that amazing. Colony and R2R are at least pretty original.

I don't see how that makes sense at all. TJR like pionered the Gothenburg style (along with The Gallery and SOTS), yet Colony is more original?

What I meant is that the sound on Colony is not really compareable to any other band while the sound on TJR I can easily compare to for example Ablaze My Sorrow's album Anger, Hate and Fury

It's not really The Jester Race's fault that loads of bands tried to emulate it though, just makes those albums unoriginal and boring.

Oh, I'm liking Colony more and more now. Still don't really like the last three songs, but the rest are fantastic.

Colony is awesome

And yeah i do agree with your statement that it is not TJR's fault, but it really is like that that a lot of bands copied TJR, making it a bit less unique, while Colony stands as a unique album.

Btw that Ablaze my Sorrow's album is magnificent, if you like TJR then you will love that, I will highly recommend it to you

I must disagree, man. This is absolutely In Flames' worst art work to date. It just doesn't fit their style at all. It might work for The Used, but not for a Melo-Death band like In Flames. Their older stuff raped. Honestly, I would love to see them bring in Dan Seagrave. Now his artwork rapes.

The reviewer is completely accurate in describing "I'm the Highway." The opening riff is one of my favorite moments on the cd for sure, but the rest of the song sucks camel dicks.
