He's awesome but I just don't get how he can prefer AMLOR to Division

Honestly, I myself don't particularly dig either one. I mean, they're both decent in their own right but I can't remember the last time I heard either album in full. "Learning To Fly" is probably the only track I ever return to in AMLOR, and I too prefer it to Division Bell, which I never really play anyway. I'm kind of in that "Roger Waters... boat" myself. I love Pink Floyd as much as the next guy, but The Final Cut is where their discography ends for me personally.

oh well it's opinions I guess, but I'm as rabid a Floyd fan as they come so I like everything they've done... even this. I understand why most people don't like the post-Final Cut albums though which is why I wrote a review for the Division Bell, hopefully to convince people to give it another chance. Maybe you could check it out?

@Rowan

Oh, I must have missed it. But yeah, I would be happy to. I have some writing to do tonight for a review, but I will read it when I'm done.

all of this ^

also...I always assume that I love PF MORE than the next guy heh. I don't dig EVERYTHING they did though...their discog is actually a bit strange to me. they have a handful of albums that I could do without, this included. then 2-3 albums that I consider very good, a couple of superb albums and probably like 5 albums that literally changed my life.

I did see your division bell rev rowan. like I said in there I don't like the album at all but your review was excellent.

Their first six albums are significantly better than everything that came out after that. DSOTM and OBC have their moments but still...

This is top five Pink Floyd for me!

This should be under "LPs" not compilation.
