seriously? that thing can't actually kill you though.. it only drains you until you have 1% health and then there's a planned sequence that takes place :S

best game soundtrack ever. Symphony of the Night comes close though
|
| |
yes! symphony of the night is brilliant. also, i think the final fantasy soundtracks are great, and jesper kyd's work for the assassin's creed series is nothing short of genius.

Amazing, Metroid is my favorite video-game of all time, I prefer the prime 2 soundtrack but this one is just as awesome.

Dude I went on a discovery of classic NES-SNES games years ago and was blown away game after game. It's such a good experience
|
| |
yea, god bless ROM's...

Played it on SNES, played it on my Raspberry Pi emulator, played it on my PC emulated. Played it on the Nintendo Store. Played it on my SupaBoy portable SNEs. Played it IN VR...in a virtual bedroom, on a virtual pixel-render-emulated TV, on a virtual emulator....ugh this really is the best game of all time. The atmosphere and soundtrack do something to do me. Something happened to my brain when this came out and I was 5 years old and totally lost and unable to get past the first few rooms. But I was hypnotized by it.
All these years later, I'm now halfway done a half-sleeve tattoo of the game's stellar box art, minus the text. And yes, with OG Red Ridley. So stoked to get it finished up.
