Ohhh haha, I was thinking that was an acronym for one of their previous releases and couldn't figure out what the hell it was.

But yeah, given that this was released in 1989 it was waaaaaaay ahead of its time. I have the remaster too and it sounds incredible.

Tbh, overall quality drops hard after this album. However, Get Ready is actually a pretty decent album imo. Hell, it even has one my favourite songs of theirs, Crystal.

they only put out 4 albums after this one, might as well just give 'em all a couple of listens

Get Ready in particular is fucking awesome, particularly if you throw in Behind Closed Doors, Sabotage, Brutal, & Here to Stay as bonuses; those were all non-album tracks from that era, Sabotage being one of my favorite songs by them ever

plus the often overlooked Electronic project he did with Johnny Marr, i think that first album would satisfy most people into late 80s N.O., & the other two ain't shabby either (though i'm admittedly the least familiar with Raise the Pressure)

Love this album and the previous three and Substance.

Much prefer New Order to Joy Division.

Yeah it is a true classic. Flawless blend of house rhythm with 80s pop. This shit's ahead of its time.

Interesting pick Log, that album is pretty underrated for some weird reason.

yeah i don't know it's just sort of the sweet spot of New Order for me - a kind of perfection of the PCL/Low-Life sound before moving on to more all-out "disco" & house stuff like they'd do here & in places on Substance

i pretty much love their entire post-Movement catalog by this point, though
