They keep using that same melody, you know the one I mean. Listen to the start of "I knew I couldn't trust you", that's it. They've used it soo many times. What i've heard of this has been pretty good, overall. Probably won't download it or whatever, though.

Born Dead's riff in the beginning is jacked...from what fucking song, I can't think of it
|
| |
Polemic review... Gotta hear before I can actually say something about the album.
|

And then Akhmed was all like "JIHAD!!"
and I was all like that is sooooo Akhmed.
|

Excellent review. This band sucks though.

I am so pleasantly surprised.
How pleasant.

This is catchy but they didn't innovate quite enough. Needs less conventional singing melody, especially when theyre using the same stale ones.
So is music like this not really popular anymore in the USA? What the kids lovin these dayz, if not Shane Told and his fuzzy haired compatriots.

Not sure if I should listen to this, their last album was pretty bad, all things considered.

Take note that Arrivals & Departures actually got me into the band, and that says a lot considering it is their worst album.
Check this out though. It's at its best on the heavier songs like "A Great Fire," "Vices," "Born Dead" and "I Am The Arsonist." If those don't please you though, it's most likely you'll absolutely hate the rest of the album.

I'll eventually get around to checking this out, but I'm in no rush.
|

And let it be known; Silverstein has wicked album art.
|
| |
so I'm assuming this is what that overly-pretentious "mysterious" link was for that showed up in the news a few months ago?
|

Great review man. I wasn't planning on picking this up after Arrivals and Departures, but I'll definitely check it out now.

so I'm assuming this is what that overly-pretentious "mysterious" link was for that showed up in the news a few months ago? yessir, and it's not that bad aside from the fact that the lyrics are still bad

True.

this seems like it'll stick out a lot more in my mind than Arrivals & Departures did.
