i don't really know what you mean by entry level bullshit. i think you are referring to the music that i listen to as being entry level bullshit but you have no idea what i listen to, and it's certainly not entry level mainstream metal albums. besides you didn't even get black dahlia murder's genre right, it's deathcore not melodic death metal, kind of like all shall perish and white chapel. i never said that children of bodom was the only band to pull the genre off either, you obviously have a hard time reading. the funny party is that you didn't even rate this album... so you just came on to vent about how you felt about my comment? and how else are you supposed to rate something without comparing it to something else? that's where perception comes from. this is probably going to piss off some losers who go on this site all the time who can't actually play music, but if you can't sweep, then don't be a douche about rating metal. which is convenient because i am 90% certain that you are girl, and i'm pretty sure that in the entire world, only about 20 chicks can sweep and i doubt your one

How can I put this simply, L2METAL.

Black Dahlia Murder is melodeathcore. In metal more then any other genre you can be multiple (ex Winterun, Folk melopowerdeath) so before YOU start insulting peoples intelligence maybe you should do some research yourself.

And this is a terrible album, and i'm a diehard CoB fanboy.

haha, you barely quoted me right. i threw in the word UNNECESSARY for a reason. i felt like what i said was necessary even if it did offend some people. besides, the black dahlia murder can be melodeathcore or deathcore but not just melodic death metal, which was the point i was trying to make; but if you're really that much into specifics, get over you're self. why are you assuming that i think job for a cowboy and bullet for my valentine are sweet bands? currently, i'm really into moonsorrow and after the burial. but for the record, doom is a fun & good album: jonny david has amazing range, good beak downs, slightly unique guitar work, independent recording, and base booms kick ass. i'm not saying that it's a great album and they should sit on a thrown, but if you don't like the album then you're probably just too concerned with associating your self with the other hardcore kids that like the album too, which makes you a douche
