i think the guitar work is totally original bye

.. Hello!

Haha! Far from it. Most of the guitar solos are duplicated, repetitive fingerpicking. But I will say, the album isn't bad to listen to; so I guess not all the guitar work is mundane.

Hello! Where are these solo's duplicated from or are you saying that they are all copied from themselves?

I'm not saying they took one single solo and just used it in every song; but they do use similar fingerpicking lines in many of their songs. Even watching them in concert I became surprisingly bored listening/watching the guitar players. But I'm not at all saying this album is bad.. I actually enjoy it somewhat. Maybe it just takes some consistent listening to look (listen) beyond it.

.. I just wish they didn't drown out the vocals in production. Because Dylan actually has a great voice.

... I have to admit - this album is growing on me. Very enjoyable (thanks to the clean vocals). + 0.5 more.

I read a thing about these guys in AP and ecpected some super generic screamo, but I keep hearing ONLY good about them.

Took a listen--Maybe its just what I was hearing, but the mix is kinda bad. And they sound SOOOOO much like dgd. Otherwise they're pretty good.

Such a wondrous display of musicianship. This band pulls off EXACTLY what they wanted to, and display their emotions accordingly. Very VERY solid album.

^Indeed. If it was a little more varied I would probably bump my rating up to a 4. I'd like to hear those screams improve on their next record. Though they are great on "An Autobiography in....."

Haha - they do not. I can't see the similarity with that comment. However, I do see likeness compared to DGD.

P.S. Bennett (OM screamer) is not with the band anymore. Anyone know what happened?

Whoa, I knew their drummer left but not this guy. That's a bummer. Hopefully they find someone better. At least they didn't lose the guy who does clean vocals, he can do some cool sh** with is voice.

Crap, that sucks. They could've used a better screamer though imo

Screamer wasn't too important in this band, but he sounded generic anyway. The clean dude is the key in this band plus the two guitarists.
