damn this is really really fucking good. it could potentially drop down to a 4.5 but it's so freaking original that i actually don't see that happening

Giving this another go soon. Everything about my music taste says I should love this but not much luck so far.

I was kinda surprised I loved this on my first listen, I usually can't stand an album so long but this one I enjoyed a good bit.

I've been trying a fucked up experiment these days involving listening to this, and then as soon as it finishes, listening to Gnaw Their Tongues- L'Arrivee.

Contrast feels good man.

yes Potato you're right, it's Mezzanine. Tryptych and this are a bit similar in sound but they have different themes. This is a bit better though.

While not trying to compare I can honestly say this is better than Mezzanine and anyone who disagrees with me better be ready to lose some appendages

lose some appendages? dang son. i see this as at least a 4 and that as at least a 4.5, but deep personal connections and whatnot give them both 5s for me. no point comparing things that feel so different

I love both equally, although I honestly listen to Mezzanine more often.
