And that's what this album often ends up being. Boring. Far too little actually happens over a seemingly infinite span of time at points on this record
I can see where you and others might have a problem here, but this album actually goes by faster than any other Opeth album for me so this isn't an issue.
What's with all the low scores for highly acclaimed albums lately lol.
This is a solid review though, it drags on a bit because I think it's too long, but you back up your score very well. The way you describe this album is sort of how I felt about Opeth in general for quite a while, but no longer. I respectfully disagree. But good job, pos'd.
