Early Grave is all I've heard, but it's pretty great.

How is it that like 7 days into 09 we already have a album of the year contender? I've listened to this cd a disgusting amount, and I still freak'n love it. Fantastic album.

One time, I listened to Sisqo's album once and thought it was album of the year. This Message Edited On 01.28.09

is it me or does it sound like Charlie Simpson doing vocals for most of the title track Hollow Crown.

I went to a show they played in Baltimore and the crowd was LAME. It was like me and one other dude who even knew any of their lyrics and these two dumb girls kept on getting all giddy because of "how cute they were." Go to a freaking BMTH show if you are going to do that crap. If this cd doesn't get this band some recognition over here in the States I'm gonna go crazy. Shitty UK bands like BMTH get famous and talented ones like Architects go unnoticed. Whats wrong with the world? This Message Edited On 01.29.09

Hmmm... a more straightforward direction and more clean vocals? Go on... Pahaha ;) In all seriousness I've found a bit of their earlier work to be just a tad too brain scrambling for my taste, but color me a paradox, I almost bout DEP's Miss Machine.

To be honest, I prefer much more their (architects) new sound over the techy one. However, I love Calculating Infinity and Miss Machine...

The DEP influence is definitely still there, particularly with a couple of riffs in Dethroned.

The more I listen, the more I like this. People that were saying that there's a lot more subtleties than it seems like at first are right. I really love the more melodic parts with the clean signing. Might have to up this rating I'm really digging this right now.

There's just enough technicality to keep you on your toes but not so much that it gets in the way (which it did a bit on Ruins and, I feel, a lot on Nightmares).

Dis is awesome.
