I'm pretty sure he describes the music thoroughly, going into specifics would be arbitrary because all the songs use the same techniques.

It's not a good review because the guy obviously set out to hate the album, and his criticisms are ridiculous and flat-out incorrect. (Stuff like saying there is no "melody" in the guitar lines). The holier-than-thou, sarcastic, arrogant tone throughout the review makes it clear that he holds Mick Barr in contempt and was guaranteed to hate the album. I mean, I hate System of a Down, so I'm not going to write a review for their albums because it would come off in a similar way.This Message Edited On 01.27.09

How the hell do you get some sort of contempt for Mick Barr in this? It's obvious that he got the album, just like I did, because he thought it was going to be good from all the hype, and then was severely disappointed, just like I was, because it was a very poorly constructed album. I doubt he even knows who Mick Barr is other than what's said about him on MA.
