This is a classic metal/industrial album. It's considered by many to be the defining album of that "genre" if you will. If you're 30-40 years old, and grew up in the era of the alternative music mushroom that happened from early 90's to 2000's.. or know someone who did then you know this album front to back. Lollapalooza tour in 92' they highlighted this album and blew away other acts who were more mainstream than they were. Don't understand people spouting song opinions and they haven't even heard the whole album- or the artists catalog- well thats just laughable. This one and LORH are the classics. And the live record "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up".. amazing record. The new one From Beer To Eternity is honestly on par with their best as well.

The Land of Rape and Honey is greater than this and, I believe, acted as more of an influence on the genre

I prefer this and The Mind to that

I should give this a second chance, when I first listened long while back the repetition made me feel negative to this, but I think I might like it better now

"The Land of Rape and Honey is greater than this and, I believe, acted as more of an influence on the genre"
he/they influenced a lot of groups not just with Rape and Honey tbh most of the 80's and 90's albums and even the early 2000's albums were very well done until Rio Grande Blood where he just kept trying to making Psalm 69 pt3, then 4 then 5 etc

This album was a big part of my youth. I havent heard it for years (decades).
Still a strong album. Scare Crow is the best thing here.
Never heard any other Ministry
