It really is part 2 of the first album. The keyboards are mixed higher and take a slightly more prominant role, but otherwise it's the same album with the same basic slow-chug riff that was on every song of the original (there's also nothing as good as "Aesthetics of the Grotesque" from the first album).

Yeah, the only thing I recall is not being completely wowed by any section of the album. Decent, though. I look forward to reading the review.

I'm torn between a 3 and a 2.5 because I'm enjoying this as it's playing but I can see where it might not be the first thing I think of putting on. I'll stick with a 3.

Yeah, that was my first thought too, but my initial excitement wore off before the album had even finished, and that's definitely not a good thing. As well as the fact I don't plan on ever listening to it again.

I enjoyed it the whole way through, but I couldn't think of a time when it would ever get put back on over anything else I have... oh well.
