I like Firewind, but they're not exactly the most power-metally power metal band around. Mind you, that's probably why I like them.
I'm still undecided on CoB, as on the one hand, the guitars are all too easy to love, but the keyboards and sometimes the vocals annoy me to about the same amount. Then again, listening to a full album may change that. Well, only one way to find out...

This album makes FTR seem like it was written by pre-schoolers. And FTR does not sound identical to Hatebreeder. FTR is the start of them trying to water down their music and make it for the casual crowd that just wants to headbang. Metal bands always just focus on headbanging riffs when they go more mainstream. I listen to music for more than just headbanging, though. I'm not saying FTR sucks because I actually think it's good, but it's nothing compared to this album.
