for female-sung pop music, no one even comes close to Debbie Harry and Blondie. especially when you consider that she wrote all the lyrics AND a lot of the music.
Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Britney, and all the rest aren't even worthy to stand in Debbie's shadow.

Great review! Totally awesome compilation of the best female pop artists of the decade. She has so much more substance than Madonna.
