Some may be put off by the excessive length of this album (75 minutes!), but it features some of the band's best material of their career. Epic Balladry ('November rain), punk-fuelled straight-up rockers ('Garden of Eden') and downright dirty dirges ('The Garden') make this album the creative wonder it is, even if there are only a few 'fillers' to be found in 'Back off bitch' and 'You ain't the first'. This album is further proof that Guns N roses weren't all about Appetite for destruction.

the soft section of november rain never really grabbed me, but that outro is so fucking tasty
