i saw them at atp ny 09 i was so close to the stage i was basically licking lockett's shoes
their live shit is a lot more (in terms of sonics) 'cryptograms' than 'microcastle' imo; quite droney, sometimes you cant make out exactly whats going on but it sounds good
this is probably the millionth time i've posted this video but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qgb36Wwasdc (hazel st.) was SO GOOD LIVE (it "starts" about a minute in i guess)
also lockett literally looks 12 years old
atlas sound live was lol, he played ~4 songs in his 45 minutes, the rest was 'damn my shit isnt working' and telling stories but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nbmYWI11HI&feature=related this is an unreleased song and it owns
also i was looking through this thread
'As if you just let the subjective trump the objective, which itself is not a 5.' this is the worst comment ever ~objectivity in music~ die nick greer die

Nick Greer is a terrible human being
and hey maybe there is something about being 14 that prevents you typing correctly but I'm inclined to agree with lewis, it makes for an irksome read

Weird Era Cont. is well worth listening to you should totally get on that

i have it downloaded so will do
|

when (for the brief seconds) i saw them the audience was tiny and pretty unappreciative which always kind of gets to me even if it shouldnt. same thing happened when i saw AC at bristol - bigger crowd, same apparent boredom. calvary scars is definetely cooler/as cool on weird era cont, so listen to it : )

Lovely review.
This band really knows how to pick awesome album covers. Only just started listening to this about an hour ago, really like it so far though, might be just as good as Halycon Digest, not sure yet. HC had to grow on me but this one I'm immediately connecting with. This band is so wonderful.
