Nah his vocals don't sound anywhere near as good as on Resurrection. You can hear them faltering here and he full on lost for the live DVD that followed this, Bloodbath over Bloodstock, where he sounds downright horrible.
The production doesn't do it for me either. The sound is very scooped, the master is quiet, and it's just not as chunky as RTC or Nightmares. The basic sound on those albums fit the disgusting, gory content extremely well - they sounded very different from each other, but both sounds were extremely appealing. I loved Unblessing the Purity, and liked the production and vocals on that well enough, but this record just sounds dull.
A 2 is way too harsh, but I agree with most of the reviewer's points. I like Iesous though, and I don't know why he didn't mention the end of Hades Rising, which is awesome and memorable.
Also, there's no Meshuggah influence here, let's be real.
