"What I noticed immediately was the extremely guttural and violent vocals. Max's voice almost seemed inhuman. Not to mention the track is played against extremely brutal guitar riffs and jackhammer drums. Not surprisingly Soulfly came across to me as a whole bunch of sociopaths that somehow learned to play musical instruments."
I lol'd. Now I see why you said that wutwutt.

My second least favourite Soulfly album after 3, but still pretty decent. Got some great tracks but overall it seems all the good stuff went to CavCon in 2008.

Good album. Mental and heavy but Cavalera keeps the rhythm going.

Am I the only one that thinks the new album absolutely rips? I love the Enemy of the Sun-era Neurosis vibes mixed with some Morbid Visions style claustrophobic heaviness. Black Hole Scum and the title track are two of the coolest Soulfly songs ever imo
