I haven't seen this much closemindedness in metalheads since....... the formation of metal. But seriously, whatever beef you guys have with the middle eastern themes really don't affect the album.
Sorry Balls, I wasn't passing off your word or anything. I have this on my list! The bit of stuff I've heard from that part of the world has never really caught my attention to begin with. However, I recently watched a heavy metal documentary called Heavy Metal in Baghdad. Pretty sad stuff.

It's all good. I've been meaning to check out that documentary for some time now, i'll probaly put it on my x-mas list. We, the sputnik metal guard, should start a community pot and put in some bucks for which label we think will pick up this band. My money says Napalm, possibly Candlelight since they have Distorted, but who knows at this point. I just want this album.

Listening to a few tracks off this now and I would bet on Candlelight picking this up. Sounds like something on their roster already.

This sounds like interesting stuff, neat review Balls.

Ya this is pretty good, I need to listen to it a bit more though, only heard it once in full.

Word. I'm between a 3.5 and a 4 myself.

There's a really cool interview with Bilocate on metalreview.com that people should check out. Very interesting to read the tribulations and influences these guys have.Brave Murder Day ftw.

Waseem EsSayed: When it comes to listening I have multiple genres that I get interested in, actually I like anything that's thoughtful. So a list of some albums that were so influential for me would be:
Opeth – Orchid
Porcupine Tree – The Sky Moves Sideways
Anathema – The Silent Enigma
Katatonia – Brave Murder Day
Edge of Sanity – Crimson
Ramzi EsSayed:
Edge of Sanity – Crimson (1996), Crimson II (2003)

Good bands listen to good bands that unoffical internet street writers listen to so it's all good. i like how they all rep Brave Murder Day. Word.

This sounds awesome. I don't know how I missed this review (unless it was posted over a weekend). Good review. It looks like the metal-hater got your review.
|

Yeah, I gave some tool a hard time for opening up a new septic flesh account as well as reviewing the new album with different cover art so i'm not suprised. I posted it Monday so it's pretty close to the weekend.
|

Oh, Monday was a holiday so I was off work on Monday too.
Yeah, my negs have all come from sba4life because I gave him a hard time about being borderline-illiterate on one of his reviews.
I'll check this out when I get home tonight.

I might have to go the same route. I haven't seen this anywhere yet either (I haven't checked Amazon or iTunes though).

It's hilarious this band isn't signed yet, even more hilarious is the impossibility of finding the album. I thabk the soul for spotting it on lastfm.

Hi there .. I am an elder brother of Ramzi and Waseem from Bilocate. I was reading the review (well done Balls..) and the comments and thought I should create an account and might be able to provide you all with any info you need about the band.
Regarding finding their Album "Sudden Death Syndrome" on the shelves anywhere in Europe or North America, this is not possible at the mean time. They are still unsigned as Balls mentioned. They have a distribution contract with a mega store in the middle east, so you can find the album in Dubai or Jordan at least (if you happen to know anyone travelling there).
I've noticed that some tried to contact the band to buy the album, if you still need help in that tell me, I might help in that as well.
For more info about Bilocate, check out their website: www.bilocate.net

This and the new Ikuinen Kaamos are still strong on my list to order. And thanks, can't wait till this is available.
The fact that Bilocate still remain unsigned is remarkable considering the talent of this band is greater than most that do have labels.
