I agree, Bleeding Through were at their best when they were raw and heavy. Post- This Is Love This Is Murderous is too clean and lacks the crushing power of Love Lost In A Hail Of Gunfire. The Boondock Saint samples were also fucking kickass.

Two best songs off that album! It was also my first metalcore album and I remember buying it because the front cover was just so awesome hahaha.

One of my first favorite metalcore albums as well and also my first band shirt. The Truth did have a killer booklet with the memmebrs all decapitated and whatnot.
This sounds like Truth processed x10 so far, wtf? This Message Edited On 09.27.08

I think this is better than the truth, but doesn't touch their older stuff.
And I loved TILTIM even more because of the Boondock Saints samples.
Thanks for the constructive criticisms from people. I'll try and edit this when I'm not weighed down with Uni work.

I like Marta. alot. I like Brandon more though. Dude was a Major League Baseball draft pick but ended up playing in a metal band.

actually on "Sister Charlatan", Ryan Wombacher, the bass player, sings the whole chorus. The band actually said so before they released the album.

I like Marta. alot.
I do too. Who doesn't like Marta?!
I think she also fits with the band and isn't just there as the eye candy. But I'm she is there for that reason too, no matter how much they deny it.

Three time Revolver champion she is. I still say Bleeding Through should have stayed rawer and heavier, going back to their pre The Truth roots with minimal keyboard work. That suited them, the clean singing and production along with increased keyboards was not a good sighn for the band.

just bought my copy of this today, will be writing a review later tonight for it
and the only thing that truskill did for this album was sell it, they had nothing to do with the production of the album

Awesome, I look forward to reading it. Will probably be better than mine, seeing as it's only my second review.

can anyone agree with me the Winds of Plague is just a ripoff of Bleeding Through?

I agree 478% with that and Winds Of Plagues suck hard at a 1,093 % level, deduct 13 points for the keyboardist posting a nude pic. Band should really F.O.A.D.

I have mixed feelings on the 300 ref in the opener... it seems forced, but i guess it works.... I was just sort of flabbergasted to hear them resort to using it. The Boondock Saints references were okay, but this one went a little too far i think...
