I think I'm with Angel on this, it's undoubtably great, but I just can't get into it. The Music Of The Spheres is actually amazing though.

The title track, Dimension Hell and The Navelless One are what stood out to me. Closer is damn good as well. Most of the other tracks are good, and everything here is technically/instrumentally very impressive, but yeah, the album lacks a certain special something (that I found this year in albums like Sagas, Watershed, Psychosis, Lazarus Bird, and Traced in Air)

I'm loving this more with every listen, probably one of my top for this year right now.

I love it just the same... this is one of those albums which starts at a 4.5 and sticks there.

His vocals bore the crap out of me. But the music is quite nice.
As I only like it symphonic when it comes to black metal, this is quite ok...I guess.

''yeah this has worn off a tremendous amount since the first few times i've spun this''

the exact opposite happened to me

in the beginning it seemed like a usual copy/paste symphonic BM album, but after i gave it some more time i realized i love it

strange how that works. i find the second half of this to be particularly boring now. i still love the first couple tracks here though
