I knew that this cd was doomed when they A) Had Kurt Angle on the album cover B) There merch had a championship belt on it C) It came out. It is terrible (save Tales From The Burg). I was a huge fan of Goodbye to the Gallows, but this is so unoriginal and so bland. But I dissagree with you on one thing, I happen to love there lyrics. Its the only good thing about this album. Yeah if I'm ever in the mood to kick a puppy I guess this would be alright, but there's much better metalcore IMO so I dunno...I guess if for some reason I had this cd in my car and the rest were stolen I could deal for a day or two...

There definitely is better metalcore. These dudes do what they do with passion and anger though so I guess that's legit. I mean they are pretty brutal some would argue. But the same old bullshit breakdowns get old. Angry words about women and shit get boring too. But yea...definitely if I am in the mood to inflict pain upon animals or even women. Because he hates women and it would be in good taste I guess. Just kidding...I am a social worker. If I got my cd's stolen and this was left...I would find whoever it was and beat their ass with it. And then ask if they have any issues with respect.

i kind of enjoyed their "goodbye to the gallows" album...

don't really know why, it's all a giant rip off of other metal bands(the acacia strain, killswitch engage).

But i listened to the first four songs on this album and threw it out my window.



Just pointless crap with breakdowns behind it,

don't get me wrong i love a good breakdown here and there.



But this just makes my head hurt.



They ripped so many breakdowns off the acacia strain and they suck just as bad as Emmure does...

gooood this album sucks soooo much
at least with goodbye to the gallows there was cohesion in their music, and good transistions from chorus/verse to breakdown...
now its just annoying chugging-to-nothing...
every one of my friends that hav bought this album has given it to me (cause I collect cds), i now have 6 copies of this cd... anyone want one, $2? lol
