AJFA is kinda boring imo.

And I like this more than RTL tbh, no filler here, plus the first two songs and "All Nightmare Long" are some of Metallica's best.

MoP>DM>RTL>KE'A>AJFA>Black Album

havent bothered to get the other three

Great review. It pretty much sums up my feelings exactly. The album has some great riffs and hooks, but the production of the album tends to peak out a bit. I don't think this was Rick Rubin's fault as much as the mixer (Greg Fidelman).

people seem to be complaining about the production a lot. i think it's got a great raw, live sound.

i've had this on for about a week and a half, and it's still good fun. the first time i heard it i had a massive grin on my face after the third track.

Sadmafiasco, I'm not metallicaman8, I only recently joined this forum after hearing quite a lot about it from SylentEcho there. He and I have been mates from school, so yeah.

We're both metal fans and comic book marks, though he likes his wrestling as well. This Message Edited On 09.13.08

Naww really? :P

Just that no one's really reviewed that album, and it's one of my favourite albums by Corrosion of Conformity.

not a great review to be honest

Metal's at the point where's bands that pose as metal bands including Avenged Sevenfold, who insist on torturing people with Backstreet Boys influenced tunes, with an image reminscent of Motley Crue, but more Hot Topic around. Deswpite that, Metallica have returned to their rightful place in the Metal world.

this is the worst paragraph i've ever read on this site

Quite well written for your first effort, my compliments.

I can't fathom how people are liking this much as they are, and I've tried liking DM very much. It's a decent effort, not much more than that compared to what a lot of newer bands can bring to the table. That said, I don't see how you can give this album a 4.5 regarding the faults you mentioned, coupled with Lars Ulrich's ever so uninspired drumming. This Message Edited On 09.13.08

Foreverendeared, that's your opinion. Grammatically that was a shit paragraph though. I blame the jack. Fixed it now.
