oh yeah the scene as a whole sucked and was very samey. The Cribs stand out to me as the best of a mediocre lot, with most of their albums being somewhere between mediocre and good. Still, over their whole career theyve put out some brilliant songs. Theres just also a lot of repetitive filler

bloc party's first was by far the best from that era but this stands out for sure

Couldn't really get into Bloc Party either. Only band from that scene that I really like are the Arctic Monkeys. I've always thought they have something more about them.
