The first album I ever heard, my most played album in my life, and my childhood's favorite album. Plus it has ALWAYS been in my top 10, and is probably the greatest R&B, and
no-feature- album ever. You probably didn't still know that if I wasn't for Craig, then Justin Bieber and alot of other artists such as Conor Maynard, Ed Sheeran, etc wouldn't be as big as they were (that's how much Craig David has impacted music in reality). Fill Me In, my most played song ever, (still ain't tired of it), shows how intelligent of a story teller he is. Can't Be Messin' 'Round shows how great of a rapper he is, in comparison with other
R&B-wannabees, and even alot of hip hop artists who tries too hard. Rendezvous is the ultimate relaxing song, and has changed the taste of music for my ears, since I was born.
7 Days doesn't need a desciption, we all know its a classic. Follow Me is a phenomenal example of Craig making a phenomenal sex-song, without combing over. Last Night is one of the best etifying R&B tracks of all time (in my book), yet still chillingly beautiful. Walking Away is a terrific example of him inventing a song idea that gets stuck in mind for (at least) half of the post- R&B artists in the 2000s. Time To Party is - as the title says - a party song, but NOT the kind of party nowadays, with superspeakers, an oversized dancefloor etc. more like a relaxing, chilling, but still an uplifting party. Bootyman is one of the greatest example of an artist taking a shitty topic and still make a nonetheless masterfully song out of it - Craig sings about a website. Once In A Lifetime proves he's a genius vocalist. Without the songwriting skills, highlighting production, he wants you to pay attention to his vocal ability, and for me, it works every single time. You Know What is a super-unexpected outro (for the 11-tracked album), he sings about a relationship that should have been together for eternity. And the framing of his voice is indescribable, whether it's happy or sad, it's geniusly performed. And then there's Rewind, which not only illustrates that Craig still sounds amazing if you mess with his recording sessions, but an innovation of excellent new sound to the garage and R&B world. This album is a varied album, yet still at the same tone, instruments, and vocalist, and next to no albums can top that result. #THEperfectR&Balbum ;)
