Gotta give this and Nature and Organisation a listen. I don't know how long this neofolk kick will last (probably not too long) so I'm hoping to check off some of the classics.

It's also extremely funny to me that he had a bad acid trip about Noddy and convinced himself that he was some ancient Gnostic deity or something lol

Yes you do, immediately. Checked this one out a few days ago, and it was amazing. One of the most unique vocalists in the genre.



Funny that we synced up with the neofolk wave

I'm pumped to give it a listen! I think the Joanna Newsom revisit got me interested in folk more broadly and finally listening to like Rome and now branching out a bit.

That reminds me I need to do a real dive into Swans. The Seer has been one of my eternal 5s since I heard it but I've never gone much beyond it other than a couple of their bigger releases.
