Ever think about Blinks influces and how they don't make sense with the style too much... Like you're saying if greenday didn't have Dookie Blink wouldn't have this.... But Blink didn't give a shit what Greenday was doing and same on Greenday side. Strangely enough one of Blinks biggest influences is the Cure... Whoa.
Good Luck

Great review, i have all blink 182 albulms and right now this is my favorite. i love playing these songs with my band cuz they're just so fun to play. again, who cares if they are pop punk.. do i give a flying shit on the back of ur mom? no. who cares. blink in my opinion is better then any authentic punk like anti-flag or whatever. dont bash pop punk. only simple plan.. because they arent even funny.. they just get anoying

great album, just one of those ones that makes you feel really good everytime you hear it. another similar one which often gets overlooked is Strung Out's "Twisted By Design", which is a little heavier, but still in my opinion, THE pop punk album.

This is THE classic easy/pop punk album. I'd say i've outgrown this style, but I can still pop this sucker in a have a good time singin' along. Degenerate, Josie, and Dammit are the shiznit...

I like this album. I haven't listened to them in years and I outgrown the whole scene a long time ago, but this album really holds up against the test of time.

I love this album. It may be Blink, but it is still really good, and it's a classic of the genre.
