don't get me wrong i love RATM, but as their careers moved on to audioslave the musicians really stagnated thus i think zack should find a new band...even as they moved on in Rage they were losing their touch...greatness sometimes declines, it's a fact...
Dear willfellmarsy who "loves" RATM.
Have you seen them since their reunion?

Just wanted to add after looking at your album ratings:
How come you love RATM if you haven't rated their self titled a classic (one of the most obvious ones) and then again you have done this to an Eminem LP?!?!
Excuse me for laughing my arse off at that.

ClearTheLane.................... though i shouldn't explain my ratings to a noob like yourself i'll give in and inform you that sometimes you rate an album a Classic because it opened you up to new things that you would have never listened to before rather than it being perfect.......................which though Rage's self-titled is excellent it is not a classic...................p.s. looking at people's ratings and saying "lololol you like this album lololol ur gay hahaha" will get you nowhere so it'd be best not to do it..........rather than responding to my shot at your stupid comment that wilk is anywhere near jon in skill and instead testing my loyalty to a band isn't a very straight and narrow path to besting me on a message board.................
at IAmInsect i'm sorry if my use of ellipsis offends you but it's what i do as a habit when i respond to somebody on the internet...maybe i should be a cool cucumber like yourself and try to be the next chan/elim spammer on the boards...a will try to refrain for your sake buddy boy... ... ... ... ...

Alright willfellmarsy, got some of your point. But not really, because RATM's self titled should be called a classic also just because the influence and the originality, like you'd say for Marshall Mathers LP (That in my opinion has one good actual song) And yeah you can call me a noob here, cause it's true that I'm still a bit of a new boy here on sputnik....
Anyway, you didn't answer my question, have you seen RATM live since their reunion or even in the 90s?
(I'm not asking this offensively)

Yeah i saw them at rock the bells...pretty awesome, except when my pal tried to start a clap ad no one joined in, which i guess he deserved...and sorry for any offensiveness...i just ate my mac and cheese so i'm less of a poop now and i had some bad moments when i started here too, ul get it though...
I think the reunion is good and i hope they produce some more stuff it's just i think morello has lost his way and i'd rather zack do something else with his talents...he clearly displays here that he hasn't skipped a beat and just needs the right opurtunities to produce more goodness

Cool, I was at the Rock Am Ring in Germany and I will see them again in two weeks in Paris. Which Rock the Bells was it?
Yeah my point was that they played like a real alive band and the worldwide tour has proven that they still are a band.
And btw, you may not have noticed, but Zack's voice/rapping style changed so much in about 1995... I can just so clearly hear the difference... the young Zack was just the best, so full of anger and energy. (still has but obviously not as much) He's also a very good lyricsist, and I've worked through all his songs meanings. RATM changed me politically, they made me like a socialist EZLN activist. (don't laugh out loud please) And definitely Morello hasn't lost his way, although he's still working on the Nightwatchman project. God I love that guy even more than Zack. Btw have you listened to Zack's first band Inside Out? I reviewed it a while ago.. (I gotta advertise it cause it looks like it won't get a lot of attention)This Message Edited On 08.05.08

Didn't know this was out till my bro showed it to me.
It's great until Zack tries to sing, he needs to stick with his muddy rapping. Only time the singing kinda works is on If You Fear Dying.

I don't think his singing is that bad...i'd rather him ty to do something new rather than stagnate...
excellent ep that i still play every couple of days

It's not bad enough to ruin anything, but the guy can't hold a note.

regardless, if his emotions are still portrayed in a fashion that's considered pleasing on some level it doesn't matter (if that level happens not to be consonance).

I always wanted to hear Zach de la Rocha work with El-P like had been rumored for a time. That could've been badass. But all I can really say is, thank god de la Rocha's back. And this ain't no Audioslave sellout bull crap. Zach is one guy who would NEVER do that.
Awesome, awesome stuff here. Quite possibly better than anything Rage ever did, as hard as it is to believe. You gotta believe though.

One Day as a Lion is the best track on here, proves Zach De La Rocha has still got awesome vocals.
