remember being pleasantly surprised when seeing these guys live (supporting ETID)
could never sit through an entire album, though
|

Why is this page frogstomped?
They broke up some time ago
|

I'm pretty sure they were in the midst of recording a new album too and it was like most of the way done and then they called it quits

This album definitely takes me back to being 14 years old as well. They were actual a local band so I got to catch them a fair amount of times. Their keyboard player was absolutely insane. Like, KC Wolf from the Chariot levels. Not really except maybe kind of.
"The album that the band was recording in 2009 was never released to the public due to their dissolution before putting vocals to the recorded music" - wiki

The second LP started off amazing with the first track and then it was just all downhill. They completely ditched the more aggressive vibe in favor of more melody and ballad type shit. It had a few good songs but it was like 3 territory.

this album was pretty awesome.

surprised u gave bright side of suffering a 5/10.. that prob my most lasting song on this album.

I still listen to this from time-to-time. It's not horrible at all, but it's so damn average.
It was cool meeting Tyson though, he bought me a beer.

This was my first post hardcore band back in 2013. i forgot about them and regarded them as a bad band. After revisiting them recently i realized i was wrong about them, this album has some really killer tracks. I love the raw production and Tyson's vocals. There are some killer riffs and synth here too. I think that if there's something this album lacks, its probably consistency. I feel like some songs are filler, but maybe they just aren't as engaging as some of the better songs one this album.
