The album is mediocre. Trivium has loads of potential, but abuse it to make terrible stuff like this.

yeah thats my main question, why does everyone hate this album? i mean the guitars are good, the drums are good, and the vocals are good (sometimes), and even the lyrics are good, so whats the deal?

I used to have this as a 5 but its been gradually going down. Matt Heafy's voice is starting to annoy me when i listen to this.

I really think Trivium could make a fantastic album if they did follow so many cliches.

I only like Trivium because they're from Orlando and they solo. Heafy's not bad on this album. Decieved and I think Suffocating Sight rule. Pretty cool that Light Flies was played in Smoking Aces.

I haven't listened to this in a wile actually, but i didnt really consider anything filler. Everything is at least decent for the most part (aside from the vocals).



But yeah, It's still a pretty good album, not good enough for a 4.5. You (mr. reviewer) should listen to moar br00tal metal. Then you will see why so many people hate this album.
