^If it's anything with songs like "Want You Bad" I'm not buying it.

this is really a good compilation, which is a change for me
|
| |
Don't really care if it isn't their real "greatest" hits. I still loved these songs. All of them are awesome. Except Hit That is a little annoying after awhile.
|
| |
I agree here. The offspring are a band i have always liked, yet they should/could have included more. Sadly they didnt.
|
| |
If I was in charge, I'd make two or three volumes of their Best Of. They'd be dipped in material consisting of stuff from Smash and Ixnay. They went downhill after that. I used to praise Americana, soon to find out it really did kinda suck compared to their older stuff. This Message Edited On 01.25.06

I think you're right, we're still in wait for the next big Offspring album, and if anyone is a true Offspring fan, they can wait a little longer
|
| |
This is just an Average old Hits album.
|
| |
It may be an average hits album. But the music on it isn't average at all. That rating is blasphomy as far as I'm concerned
|
| |
the songs are all of their hits. Their radio-played hits. What did you expect from this album? Offspring has better songs than just their hits.
|
| |
i think this is a great album, because people can get into offspring easily.
|
| |
nah, their totally missin there two first albums, which are also two of their best. But i guess these are their more pop appeal songs...
|
| |
i always am skeptical on a greatest hits album, greatest hits are usually the masses hits in there eyes, all of u people who are saying that "this song should be on this album, u are not taking into consideration all of there millions of fans preferences. these songs are not my preferences either, so if ur gonna complain about it, just go to amazon and buy some of their cd's
|
| |
I would have liked to see No hero and get it right in that album as well. So there is no excuse for not having a 16 track album if not more.

Eliminator Jr.
If you call Green Day a "poppy" band again I will eat your kidneys.(Don't think that I won't)
But this is a great collection of Offspring songs, I don't think they're missin' much.

whoa, green day isnt a poppy band? where have i been? i didnt think local radio stations played stuff that wasnt poppy. Same with MTV.
Im not too fond of this best of collection. Nothing i havent heard on the radio a million times.
|
| |
This should have included other songs. I Choose, Meaning Of Life, and Million Miles Away would have really spiced this up for the casual Offspring listener.
|
| |
Wow, this is the first time I've seen that track list. That does blow. power_lutin's right though, those are their most popular songs...it's just too bad they don't have a single raw, old-school 'spring tune. TKAA has the most punk rock energy out of those songs, and it's...well, it's off Americana. Is a good song though.
|
| |
And Nosey, if anyone is a True Offspring Fan, they can get by on the first three albums alone.
|
| |
I thought this was a good album. It is a little more on the pop punk side. Its got The Kids Arent Alright and Self-Esteem those are great songs.

"If you call Green Day a "poppy" band again I will eat your kidneys"
Green day's genre is pop-punk. Notice the pop.
