I originally thought this was pretty great, but when I went back and listened after hearing Calculating Infinity, it grew off me like mad.

Not their most technical album by far, but a very awesome listen! When the drummer from dream theater said it was one of his favorite albums from 2007, i think that's saying a whole lot.

They need to stop imitating Mike Patton/Faith No More/Mr Bungle so fucking much. Otherwise, they're a great band.

The production on this is so much better than Miss Machine's.

Miss Machine sounds muddy, overly bright, and severely lacks bass. Both of these albums are crazily over compressed, so I can't really complain about that.

I couldn't agree more with the production on Miss Machine being kind of poor, and I felt like they were trying to hard to carry the sound Patton brought to Irony is a Dead Scene. Rather than imitate it, they should evolve around it. And that leads me to agree with the guy that said that he needs to stop imitating Patton. This album is a step in the right direction to me personally, but from the song on the upcoming album, I have a feeling it is going to be even better.
