One Colony was bad enough. Then again, I'd take Colony II over any more albums like this.

Clayman in so many ways sounds like Colony...the songs are way different the but the sound is the same. In Reroute they changed it up with some Folk-Metal song, some slower songs and some straight up in your face songs. Seriously I see nothing wrong with this album...the only thing that I see why people hate this is because it got them semi-mainstream, but thats a pretty lame reason.

The reason why people don't like this album as much is because the writing in this album isn't as strong as the previous albums. Also the added effects/noises turned alot of people away from this album.

I don't hate this album because it's too mainstream. There are many bands who went mainstream that I like better for it (Avenged Sevenfold?), but what really brings these songs down is a lack of the superb instrumentation that so many of us love and extremely straight-forward songwriting. And Clayman is a lot like Colony. They changed a little, but in my opinion, Clayman perfected the sound they started with Colony. And believe it or not, I'm really starting to like their new disc... a lot...

I really liked the change in lyrics in this album, but yes the guitars suffered a bit but I liked the change up with going to a little more spiecal effects instead of beating the hell out of one sound..."Soundtrack to Your Escape" was a step down but they picked it back up on "Come Clairity"

This is my least favorite IF release. Most of the choruses on here drive me crazy, and all of Transparent makes me want to cry. I do have to admit, I really like Cloud Connected. Not a horrible album by any means, but definitely nothing special.

I'm not too impressed by the vocals on this album, but everything else is pretty decent, especially the lyrics; ex- Trigger, System ect. But its almost like the singer hadn't learned how to sing properly yet. Not like the vox in Come Clarity and Soundtrack to Your Escape.

Does anyone else get the feeling that a band making good music is being called a sellout?

R2R does not sound like Korn in any way. ._.
And who said that if In Flames evolve their style, they should stay within the boundaries of melodic death metal?

1. I don't like KSE
2. Whethere someone likes Mudvayne is a matter of individual taste
3. the memory of mankind is not big enough to also include obscure bands without any even slightly remote success

I love this album.
I totally agree with The JoZ here, I'm not really a very heavy, growling type of person, which is probably why I like this better than the older stuff. The old stuff is still good, but I like this better.
