Sketches of Spain is also pretty swell.
This is only marginally better then Kind of Blue for sentimental purposes.

I'll have to say Miles Runs The Voodoo Down may be my favorite jam of all time.

this is a better Miles record, but i like Kind of Blue better due to the playing style clash between the clamity of Miles and the fast paced chaotic playing of John Coltrane.

This is a big album
|
| |
this album is better than you

I wish I would have listened to this before Kind of Blue, if only just to say this was my first Jazz experience.

like it needed more shit, but I'm sure it's equally good
|

i like in a silent way and kind of blue better than this
i really like this but i dont think it quite earns its length/the fact that it's sort of a slog
when it comes together it's excellent though

the trio of In A Silent Way, Bitches Brew, and Tribute to Jack Johnson is to me where Miles was at his peak.
|
| |
I wonder if the title of this album was scandalous for 1969
