Does he sing all the lyrics, and how is it?

I always thought he would let the crowd sing and he would just pump them up.

I read an article that said Cornell doesn't do any vocals on the Rage songs....
weird.

Cornell is not fitted with doing rap vocals is he, he's a damn rock singer not like Rocha, Rocha is unique and so as Cornell in their voices.

i seen audioslave live and yeah, Chris sang on "killing in the name of". it's weird hearing him sing those songs, but it works, i give him credit for at least trying it.

Blah blah blah...all of u said the same thing. Honestly I was disappointed with this new album. After hearing "Be yourself" on the radio, I was really amped up for a great CD, but after just one listen I had heard enough.
I'm a pretty big fan of Audioslave having bought their first album and seen them in concert. Tom Morello is definitely one of my idols musically and politically. But honestly none of that could save "Out of Exile" from collecting dust on my shelf.
I'm not trying to talk anyone out of buying this record because I’m all for supporting this band. I don't regret buying it just for the fact that it includes the song "Yesterday To Tomorrow" which I think is an amazing piece of music. However, with the exception of "Your time has come", the rest of this album just doesn't do it for me.
I'm not saying it doesn't show growth and musical talent. I'm saying I don't enjoy listening to it with the exception to about 3 songs. It took some time for the last one to grow on me, but now it's in my Top 10. Maybe I just need to give this album some more time.

Je deteste le new album de Audioslave. Je think that it is a piece of poo poo.
Sorry, I'm not very good at French.

Is it just me, or does Chris Cornell have one of the most annoying voices in the world in this band (not insulting Soundgarden)
|
| |
I hate his voice too.
|
| |
what a bore of a band. i'll take soundgarden or RATM anyday. cornell's voice has gone downhill
|
| |
I love Cornell's voice. It was better in Soundgarden, but he's still got it...he's got the musicians to back it up as well, but Audioslave aren't showing any signs of being anything other than mediocre, which is a real shame.

Someones lent me this and I'm finding it a little samey in that there doesn't appear to be any songs that have reached out and hit me. What songs would you guys recommend I listen to for it to grow on me. I've had it for a while and only listened to it about twice. The solos are pretty lazy too. They all sound the same and aren't particularly exciting. A little overuse of the wah pedal (ala Kirk Hammet but not as good) if you ask me. I've heard some really good solos but the formulas tired now.
