I'm a fan of this album, it's definately their most creative...if not best. Good Mourning may have been better in my opinion.

Time to Waste and Back to Hell caught my attention straight away for some reason when I put the CD on.

AK3 riffs are not hard but there fun as hell to play.

This review was pretty bad. Crimson is an awesome CD, and although alk3 is not neccesarily sophisticated as far as guitar parts go, this music kicks ass. All of the lyrics are great, and the songs catchy. My personal ratings:

1. "Time To Waste" 10/10

3. "Burn" 8/10
4. "Mercy Me" 10/10
5. "Dethbed" 9.5/10
6. "Settle For Satin" 8/10
7. "Sadie" 10/10
8. "Fall Victim" 9/10
9. "I Was A Prayer" 7/10
10. "Prevent This Tragedy 8/10
11. "Back To Hell" 9/10
12. "Smoke 9.5/10
13. "Your Neck" 9/10

And, on the Japanese version of the album, there are two bonus tracks :

14. "We Can Never Break Up"
15. "Don’t Say You Won’t"

I haven't listened to them much yet, but look forward to doing so. If you like alk3, check out these bonus tracks.

My favs: Time To Waste, Mercy Me, Sadie, Fall Victim

The first half of the album is a 5/5, but the later half weakens considerably to a 2.5/5.

I agree with chillbee settle for and I was a prayer aren't that bad, anyways I just got this cd, it has to be one of the best albums I have ever listened to. Alkaline Trio is awesome.

I like settle for satin and I was a prayer.

i actually liked the review, good work. i liked the last three tracks and burn the most off the album.

this is the first alkaline trio cd ive listened to. its pretty good. have to listen to older material though.

I would have to agree with beyondtheblueprint. I do think, myself it is their best alblum. And really great review. Lots of information. If i didnt love alkaline trio already, i would have wanted to hear them because of this, and then like them.
