Nice review. Short and simple. Definetly the best RHCP album.

Every one of these songs are amazing. I personally love this album to death. As a bassist, Flea's stuff is some of the most interesting stuff to learn, and it's incredibly fun to play. As for this album, The Power of Equality is actually my favorite on here, followed very closley by Give It Away. But hell, it's so hard to pick favorites on such an amazing album.

I love the acoustic intro to Funky Monks. It kicks major ass, as does the rest of the song, and this entire cd.

This is just some funky shi...amirite? YES. I. AM. great album. Band is peaking, Rick Rubin is in the house, the best Chili's line up is on hand, and the title cut kills all. Fantastic FUNK record. And it's damn funky...

I actually don't like this album much, snas the odd track here and there. I shall probably be crucified for saying it, but I like 'By The Way' better. This Message Edited On 04.30.06

I don't like this review. It's very formulaic and cliche. I think you sort of bluffed your way through it. I know you listened to the album, but this review seems forced and ingenuine. For example:

"Their youthful energy is everywhere, in the spirited vocals, leaping guitar riffs, funky bass lines and pounding percussion."

This is tripe. I've seen this line in every music review ever written. (If it doesn't go without saying, I wasn't being literal, but you know what I mean)
